We have developed more than 25 websites since 1996 within many different areas both in German and English and we will of course continue to develop more websites as the internet grows.

tricos media, founded in 1996 under the name "tricos.software" is a small company that went into business in 1998.
From the beginning there has been one priority for us: having fun creating websites.
We concentrate on different areas in the internet business both in Germany and the US and extend our network of websites regularly which means becoming less vulnerable if one or more websites are faced with a large decline in the number of vistors based on any possible reason.

This is a short overview of our activities since our company´s establishment:
May 1996
Invention of the name "tricos" by Sascha Kimmel, the founder and owner of tricos media.
December 1996
"tricos.software" is launched on an AOL server in German. The website offers free web graphics and tips and tricks for webmasters.
August 1997
Registration of the domain "bravenewweb.net" as a German internet directory for webmasters featuring links, tips and tricks for webmasters , software downloads and much more.
September 1997
"Lover´s Paradise", a German love and dating website, is launched and contains forums and lovesongs. Shortly after launch the website is extended with free dating services.
January 1998
For the first time "tricos.software" offers free software developed by Sascha Kimmel.
May 1998
Registration of the domain "tricos.com" and further extension of the website and a new logo.
July 1998
Business registration by Sascha Kimmel, offering webdesign for small and middle-sized businesses.
Soon after Eurowings Luftverkehrs AG, a German airline now partially owned by Germany´s largest airline Lufthansa becomes the first customer with the task of implementing the company´s intranet. Many functions have been integrated until February 2001.
December 1998
Registration of the domain name "loversparadise.de" and many new functions.
July 1999
"bravenewweb.net" now offers domains and webhosting. The old contents of the webmaster directory are available on the new website "orkus.net"
January 2000
"MetaCheck" is a new free service that analyzes a website´s Meta Tags which help to get a better ranking in search engines.
May 2000
The well known "MetaCheck" is renamed to "MetaDoctor" and gets its own domain name: metadoctor.de
July 2000
Registration of additional domains for new projects: time-for-crime.de and time-for-mystery.de.
August 2000
Registration of the domain "tricosworld.com" as a future central portal to all our websites.
September 2000
A new idea is born: an audio play series (which are still quite famous in Germany) written by Francis Clifford focusing on paranormal phenomena.
Registration of additional domains for the planned series named "Crenshire Gates".
December 2000
Just in time for the release of the new PC game "Tomb Raider Chronicles", which includes a free level editor, the website "levelworld.org" is launched and allows users to submit their own levels to the directory which includes level screenshots and rating functions.
August 2001
The domain "pmfocus.com" is registered for a new planned project which regretfully never comes to life because of the insolvency of the main partner company.
October 2001
tricos media registered some new domain names: unexplained.info, mind-control.info, mulder.info und scully.info
November 2001
"orkus.net" is now known as siteproducer.info
December 2001
Relaunch of the "levelworld.org" website which includes free registration of a subdomain in the form http://www.YOURNAME.network.levelworld.org. The whole registration process is completely automated and the new subdomain is available immediately.
January 2002
Relaunch of the tricos media website at tricos.com, tricos.info and tricos.biz.
...
December 2003
The new website www.tricosworld.de is finally completed and acts as a portal to all of our German websites.
Relaunch of www.metadoctor.de - which also includes a shop and free search engine submission
January 2004
Relaunch of the German tricos media website at www.tricos.de
